The features of my professional profile, which I would to point out, are an expert
knowledge of both technical and business fields and a strong determination that
has permitted me to satisfactorily carry out around 30 different software projects

that are active today or have been active for many years.

TECHNOLOGICAL SCENARIOS
1) WEB: For the last 6 years my preferred development platform.
-Python : Server side, connecting OODB, SQL, JAVA, C lib’s, SWIG and Pyrex. (~6 y.)
-XTHML, XML & CSS. (~6 years)
-HTTP & Apache server. (~6 years), Fastcgi (~2 years), scgi (4 years).
-Javascript. (~5 years) (AJAX, DOJO. ~2 years)
-Java & Tomcat. (~ 1 year)
-Object Oriented: Durus (object persistence for Web applications). ORM: SQLObjects.
-LINUX: SUSE, Debian.
-OO Methodology on modeling, persistence and UI.

Main projects:
-Domiciliary assistance management with 3 different user profiles: staff, clients, and
assistant workers. With schedules, incidents, history... (~ 6 months of activity).
-Management, inventory and distribution of books and goods, supporting different
alphabets using UNICODE. (~2 years of activity).
-Management and MRP for machinery manufacturers for the food sector. (~4 years of
activity).

2) WINDOWS/GUI: Started around ’96 to serve the Windows server demand. Using:
-Borland C++ Builder & Delphi. (~12 years)
-.Net framework with C# and IronPython: Client side. (~ 1 year)
-ERP Sage Logic Class. (~2 year)
-Relational: ORACLE, FIREBIRD, SQLSERVER & ODBC. B-Tree: DBASE, Paradox.
-OO Methodology on modelling and UI.
-Microsoft Windows server.

Main projects:
-Management , MRP and Laboratory for dyeing and textile enterprises.
-Import/export commercial representative management application.
-Human resources application integrated with spanish RED Social Security system.

3) UNIX/HOST: Started around ’86.
-C & C++. Applications, libraries, connectivity: SQL, ODBC and serial and net
communications.(~20 years)
-UNIX’s: ATT, BULL, SCO, HP.(~20 years)
-B-Tree: C-ISAM. Relational: ORACLE, INFORMIX, FIREBIRD.
-TCP/IP & NFS. (~15 years)

Main projects:
-ERP and laboratory for yarn industries.
-ERP for textile industries fabrication and exporter of textiles.
-Inventory, design, optimization calculus, and management for indented steel centers.

1) As an analyst/programmer:

EDUCATION AND INTERESTS

I studied Computer Science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and Enterprise
Organization at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Aside from programming languages, I also have a strong interest in natural languages. Apart
from Catalan, my mother tongue, and Spanish, my second language, I am fluent in English
(First Certificate of Cambridge), and I am able to understand and express myself in basic
French and German.
